The Texas Institute for Hip & Knee Surgery (TIHKS) was formed by collaborative efforts from Dr. Matthew Heinrich, Dr. David Dodgin, and Dr. Gregory Catlett in order to broaden the scope of care and objectively measure the results from intervention. The Institute also allows us to work closely with industry to have access to the latest implant designs and treatments, some of which are otherwise unavailable outside of a FDA/IRB monitored study format.

All studies are performed with strict compliance to, and monitoring by ,local IRB and the FDA. This unique opportunity allows the Institute to provide the most clinically relevant treatment options to our patients while also providing the most protection as possible for our patients through close outcome monitoring.
